What are the odds your MLB team wins the 2020 World Series? Major League Baseball players are expected to report for spring, er, summer training July 1 (that does sound weird, doesn't it? The most popular futures bet when it comes to MLB and baseball betting is who will win the World Series. All 30 teams will receive bets, but certainly some more than others each season as the odds drastically change based on which teams the bettors believe will have the most successful campaigns. The Dodgers have won more games than any other MLB team since 2015 and have zero World Series titles to show for it. It has been 32 years since their last title. 2019 marked the Dodgers' 7th straight NL West crown. Cody Bellinger won the NL MVP in 2019, hitting.305/.406/.629 with 47 HR's and 115 RBIs. The Dodgers and Yankees are typical favorites, but some new teams join them near the top of World Series odds. Here are win total projections and odds for all 30 teams.

Opening Day 2021 is scheduled for April 1, with all 30 teams slated to be play. The Dodgers, whose posted win total of 104.5 ties the 1999 Yankees for highest total in the last 30 seasons, will begin their title defense on the road against the Rockies. The plan is for a full 162-game schedule that finishes the regular season on October 3.
Of note, the expanded postseason we had in 2020 is not currently slated to return in 2021. Barring a new agreement, the previous setup of the AL and NL having five teams each and beginning with a win-or-go-home wild-card game would be in effect.
Regarding rules, the universal DH will not be used this season, but doubleheaders will again feature seven-inning games. And when a game goes to extra innings, a runner will be on second base to start each half-inning.
The Dodgers are the favorites in the National League, and the Yankees are the top pick to come out of the American League.
